Daniel Clifford and Seasoned created a dream winter wedding at the beautiful and historic Royal Exchange in the City.
The bride wanted an ‘Enchanted Forest’ event design for her wedding day which was incorporated through the venue with stylish décor and through the menu and cocktails.
Guests were treated to an eighteen bite canapé menu, a five course wedding breakfast and an evening buffet alongside a variety of tantalising cocktails.
Guests were entertained in the mezzanine with lemon sherbert, winter breeze and sleepy hollow cocktails and canapés that included lamb, liquorice and blackcurrant coronets with cauliflower purée; mojito jelly served with popping candy and mint; and two oyster shuckers circulating the room offering Colchester rock oysters with shallot vinegar or tabasco.
The wedding breakfast menu included velouté of artichoke, crispy hen’s egg, truffle and smoked duck; and beef wellington, pomme fondant and spinach. The evening food included a sumptuous cheese stand, mini hot dogs, mini burgers and a retro candy bar.
